WI vs IND 2022: India’s Predicted Playing XI Against West Indies, 2nd T20I:
Rohit Sharma-led Team India will be looking to go 2-0 up in the five-match T20I series when they take on West Indies in the second WI vs IND T20I. The Men in Blue continued their fine run in T20Is under Rohit Sharma and registered a comfortable 68 run-win in the series-opener.

India thoroughly dominated the contest at the Brian Lara Stadium to take the lead in the series. After scoring 190 for 6 in 20 overs, the visitors came up with a strong bowling display to restrict West Indies to 122 for 8. With form and momentum on their side, India will be looking to continue their winning run in the Caribbean.
So before the second game gets underway, we have predicted the playing eleven that India are likely to field.
WI vs IND 2022: India’s Predicted Playing XI Against West Indies, 2nd T20I:
Openers: Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav

The Indian team-management sprung a surprise by promoting Suryakumar Yadav as an opener in the first WI vs IND T20I. While Rishabh Pant was expected to open the innings alongside Rohit Sharma, the team-management decided otherwise.
Suryakumar did look promising at the top as he scored 24 while Rohit top-scored for the team with 64. Both the players are likely to open the innings again in the second T20I.
Middle-order: Deepak Hooda/Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik

In another surprise, Team India left out Deepak Hooda from the playing eleven once again. With Virat Kohli rested, Hooda was expected to bat at number 3 for the Men in Blue. The team-management, however, picked Shreyas Iyer and the move did not pay off as the right-hander was out for a 4-ball duck.
With Iyer’s poor run continuing, Hooda is likely to get a chance. Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant are likely to retain their spots in the team.
Allrounders: Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja

Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are more than likely to be the two allrounders for India in the second WI vs IND T20I. Both the star players had failed to make much of an impact with bat and ball in the first T20I.
While Pandya scored only 1, Jadeja scored 16. With the ball, Jadeja picked up 1 wicket while Pandya could not open his account.
Bowlers: Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi

With the bowling lineup doing extremely well in the first WI vs IND T20I, the Indian team-management is likely to stick with the same combination for the second game.
Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi never really let West Indies off the hook and powered India to an easy win. All the four bowlers are likely to play in the second game too.
