The Indian captain Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah were all charged up after the latter took the wicket of concussion substitute Jermaine Blackwood. Bumrah was able to draw the right-hander in a forward defensive shot and managed to get an outside edge which was neatly taken by wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.

Subsequently, first Jasprit Bumrah signaled to the crowd to stay hush. Soon after, the Indian captain Virat Kohli made the same signal as Bumrah and told the crowd to zip-up their mouths.

Shamarh Brooks and Jermaine Blackwood added 61 runs for the fifth wicket partnership and the West Indies crowd was getting behind the dual. However, the alliance was broken by Jasprit Bumrah, who had a dream series.

Meanwhile, India was able to convincingly wrap up the second Test match on the fourth day’s play. The visitors won by a gargantuan margin of 257 runs to clinch the series 2-0. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has also become India’s most successful Test captain as he has 28 wins under his belt. Kohli leapfrogged his predecessor MS Dhoni who had claimed 27 Test wins. Kohli has the best bowling contingent under his leadership and he is making the most of it.

India will now play against South Africa in the home conditions.
