Just when things looked settled for Wriddhiman Saha in the International Cricket, he was struck with an injury, which saw him out of the Indian National Cricket Team. In between, the young Rishabh Pant utilised the opportunity to cement his place in the side and evolved as the first-choice wicketkeeper in Test format and also the backup wicketkeeper in limited overs.

Meanwhile, on another day at Mohali, Rishabh Pant was on the wrong side of things. He failed to make things fall in place with his poor glovework behind the stumps. Surprisingly, he received flak right in the stadium, as the people chanted the name of MS Dhoni, whenever, Rishabh missed a chance.

In 4th ODI, Rishabh Pant committed mistake twice behind the stumps. First, it was the stumping chance of Peter Handscomb, who scored a century while in the other case, it was Ashton Turner’s stumping chance, which completely changed the course of the match.
