Yuvraj Singh names six players to watch out for in this World T20

Sudipta / 14 March 2016

Indian middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh picked super six (six players) to watch out for in this World T20. Yuvraj is himself a big hitter and his presence will give India a depth in the middle order.

India have played two warm-up matches against West Indies and South Africa. Yuvraj played a 16 ball 30 run innings against South Africa.

But, ICC asked the winner of 2007 World T20 to pick six players who can turn the fortune of their respective nation’s in anybody’s game-T20 are Indian young pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

Bumrah has become an integral part of Indian team since his debut against Australia in a three-match T20 series. His Yorker and control over the ball made him an obvious choice for captain MS Dhoni.

On the other hand veteran, West Indies batsman Chris Gayle is renowned for his monstrous batting and sixes. His ability to play gusty innings cutting across the oppositions make him the favourite of all cricket fans.

Lasith Malinga is famous for his slinger and deadly toe crusher, although his injury probably takes a bite in his performance. For the last couple of years,  his Yorker made him a best T20 bowler.

Meanwhile, Dhoni’s next two choice are Indian batsman Virat Kohli and captain MS Dhoni.

Talking about MS Dhoni he said, the captain is a terrific batsman and  good “death bowler.” But the world knows that Dhoni is great death bowling batter. He loves to finish the innings.

India will face New Zealand in the inaugural match of the World T20 2016. India record against The Black Caps is very poor. India lost all four matches against New Zealand including the 2007 World T20 match.
