Strikes from Olivier Giroud on his return and Koscienly have earned the Gunners a 2/1 victory over Everton, zenithing them to the top of the PL table for the first time since February 2014.Arsenal registered back to back wins and Everton suffered consecutive defeats.Giroud,Cazorla,Ozil was monumental,so was the veteran goalie Petr Cech.Ozil provided a terrfic cross, that was clinically put between the sticks by Giroud. The lead was doubled when Koscienly”s header was put into the net(from Cazorla free kick).Ross Barkley scored just before the half time for Everton. But ,Arsenal”s resilience and wee bit of luck saw them through.
Unlike Bayern game,Arsenal dominated the possession.”Weng for life” chants were back and the gaffer said aftermatch that no one thought after opening day defeat that Arsenal might reach at the top of the table.
