Arsenal and Manchester City played an attritional 2-2 draw Premier League encounter against Champions Manchester City at Emirates, as Manchester City came from behind to earn a hard fought draw.

For Arsenal, England’s no. 10 Jack Wilshere and new recruit Chilean Alexis Sanchez, who scored a brilliant first time volley to smash past Joe Hart and send Emirates to frenzy, while for City Sergio Aguero and Martin Demichelis scored either side of half-time.

The second half pretty much began similar to first half with home side Arsenal starting on the front foot and dominated early exchanges but Gunners never found that killer pass as City defence managed to hold the ground.

Earlier, in the first half, Argentine forward Sergio Aguero scored first match of the goal to put Manchester City in to an early lead in a crucial early-season match against hosts Arsenal on Saturday with a brilliant finish. Jesus Navas provided an assist for Aguero.

Before that goal Arsenal had dominated the early exchanges and also nearly took the lead through their new signing Danny Welbeck, but former Manchester United man could only hit the post. In one of the few counter attack City caught Arsenal sleeping, as Jesus Navas picked out Aguero with a perfect pass. Aguero, on his part, took it first time and placed it past Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in the 28th minute.
