Arsenal hold advance talks to sign the Dortmund forward – SkySports

As per the recent reports from SkySports, it is understood that Arsenal have entered advance talks to sign the Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang has been Dortmund’s most prolific player this season by scoring 19 goals and making 8 assists in just 35 appearances. Such outstanding form has earned him a serious interest from Arsenal who are looking bolster their attacking option next season.

Arsenal can feel confident of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after Jurgan klopp’s sensational news of quitting Dortmund at the end of this season. Klopp’s exit would trigger a huge clear out at Dortmund including the stars like Mats Hummels, Ilkay Gundagon, Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsene Wenger is keen to use bulk of the £50 million war chest given to him for next season and bring the Dortmund forward at Emirates next season. Aubameyang will fit in to Arsenal’s style of play seamlessly. Former St. Etienne striker has got brisk pace in abundance which will add extra threat to Arsenal’s attacks.

SkySports believe that Arsenal’s interest in signing Aubameyang more than genuine and a formal bid of £15 million is expected at the end of current campaign. Dortmund are still recovering from the ground breaking news of Klopp leaving them next season but they have a huge task on their hands to keep a hold of their stars and in particulat Aubameyang, who could be on his way to Arsenal this summer.
