Arsene Wenger’s side did pretty well in the Champions League fixture in the mid-week to keep their hopes alive for the next round and will now have to bounce back from their 2-1 victory against WBA last weekend. The club is hit pretty badly by injuries as Arsene Wenger will hope that his team can get all three points from their travel to the Carrow Road.

Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck are all long term absentees for Arsenal and will not be a part of this game. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey are both fit and in contention for this game. Oxlade-Chamberlain may not start the game but Aaron Ramsey is expected to return to the centre of the midfield with injuries to several players.

Here is how they are expected to play against Norwich City on Sunday.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Goal Keeper:

P Cech:

Cech has been a solid presence for Arsenal at the back and will start again against Norwich and will hope to keep a clean sheet away from home.

H Bellerin:

The young full back has been exceptional for Arsenal’s team and will have a huge impact with his pace on the Norwich back line.

P Mertesacker:

The big center back has been in good form in the last few games and will play against Norwich this Sunday at the center of their defense.

L Koscielny:

The German center back has looked in absolute control for Arsenal this season and has provided great stability at the back. He is expected to start for Arsenal at the Carrow Road.

Nacho Monreal:

Monreal has been a useful defender for Arsenal the last few games. He is defensively sound and also provides width in attack helping Arsenal at both ends.

Santi Cazorla:

The Spaniard has been in fine form in the middle of the pitch and has helped his team’s game roll by from the back to the front. He is an important player in this Arsenal team.

A Ramsey:

Returning from injury, Ramsey will not have it easy against a busy Norwich midfield but if Arsenal are able to settle into the game well, Ramsey may well have a good comeback into the Premier League.

The Chilean has been exceptional up front for Arsenal with his tireless play. He is an impact player and will give his all when they meet Norwich away from home.

M Ozil:

Arguably the best midfielder at the moment in Europe, Ozil has been un-playable this season just in behind the striker. His movement and skill will be too hot to handle for Norwich.

J Campbell:

The young winger has shown promise in the few games he has played and will probably be given a chance in this game with all the injuries to the squad.

O Giroud:

Giroud has done well recently for Arsenal and will surely start up front when they travel to the Carrow Road, especially with the injury to Walcott.

Wenger may also try and strengthen his midfield playing Flamini alongside Cazorla and shifting Ramsey to the right in place of Campbell. They may also line-up as follows:

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Cazorla, Flamini; Ramsey, Ozil, Sanchez; Giroud

In-spite of all the injuries to key players, Arsenal have enough depth in the squad and are expected to take all three points from this game against Norwich City.
