The Gunners are one of the many sides  in the Premier League that are looking at some top class talent to add their armory this summer.

However, the manager has not been able to complete deals swiftly and is still searching for players who are ready to sign for them. However, they are linked with a number of top class players in the transfer window so let’s take a glance at all the transfer stories surrounding the Emirates outfit on Friday:

To begin with, Wenger seems to be no closer to a solution for his striking problems.

They were also linked with a move for Argentine striker Mauro Icardi which now seems to have completely broken down.

It was reported that the player’s agent was in London for a deal but the player has spoken to the media in Milan and revealed that he and his family are happy in Italy and that he might not be moving anywhere anytime soon.

“My entire family’s objective is to stay in Milan,” he told Corriere Dello Sport. “I never concealed the fact that I’m happy in this city, as are Wanda [Icardi’s wife] and the children.

This will come as a blow for the Gunners who are quickly running out of quality players to sign this summer.

However, they are now linked with yet another inform European striker in Alexander Lacazette.

The French international has been one of the most consistent strikers in Europe in recent times but is understood to be unhappy at Lyon.

He has revealed that he wants to move away from France this summer and Arsenal may be the right destination for the 25-year old. He has all the attributes needed for success in the Premier League and may be the final piece of the puzzle at the Emirates.

The manager also recently revealed that he will not be adding any more players to his midfield this summer.

“We lost three midfielders in Flamini, Rosicky, and Arteta, but numbers-wise we are quite solid in midfield now,” he told the club’s official website on Thursday leaving no room for rumors linking them with midfielders.

However, the club were unsettled with rumors that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are moving in for 21-year old starlet Hector Bellerin.

Bellerin was one of the best players in the Premier League last season in his position and is an integral part of the plans at the club. But Guardiola has reportedly identified him as a potential player for his team on the right side of the defense and wants to make a move this summer.

The likes of Barcelona are also interested in bringing him back to Spain and the Gunners will have to try hard to keep hold of him for another year.
