Arsenal welcome Southampton to the Emirates in a highly anticipated match for the home fans as they want to seek revenge on the Saints who inflicted a four-nil bludgeoning on the Arsenal side when Arsenal went to visit them in Wales. The match raised multiple questions against Wenger and his side but they were seemingly answered after their slightly better run of results which left them top of the table. Since the Chelsea defeat last weekend, those questions have propped up again for the Gunners as the side seems to lose it when they seemingly have a grasp of the title race.
With Southampton also cooling off on their blistering form earlier, the moment is ripe for Arsenal to take some sort of revenge for the humiliation. This coupled with the fact that key players like Ozil and Sanchez are right back in the squad means that the Gunners will look really dangerous in possession. But they did seem that way in the build up to the 4-0 demolition at St. Marys, so like everything with Arsenal, a win cannot be taken at face value and instead some hope will be required against the pace and creativity of the likes of Tadic, Mane and Ward-Prowse. A special performance from any of these three spells doom for the North Londoners as they have the tools to hurt Arsenal right where it hurts.
