The fierce North London rivalry is back in the Premier League as Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur for the second time this season. The first game between the two sides at the White Hart Lane resulted in an early exit from he League cup for the home team and Pochettino will be hoping that his team can bounce back from that defeat and hand Arsenal a shock in the domestic league.

This article is a preview of the match between the two teams. It also includes Team News, Expected line-ups and Predictions.

The Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur match will be played on Sunday the 8th of November at the Emirates Stadium in London. The kick-off is scheduled at 5:00 pm BST (9:30 pm IST)

Team News:

Arsene Wenger has had a bad last few weeks in the injury department. But defender Koscielny, keeper Ospina and Arteta may all be fit enough to face Tottenham on Sunday. Walcott, Chamberlain, Ramsey, Wilshere, Welbeck and Rosicky will all miss out on this game due to various injuries.

Pochettino also has some good news in the injury department as Danny Rose who limped off against Villa last week is back in contention for this game. Son Heung-min and Clinton Njie are also in line for a place in the team after missing out the previous games recovering from injuries. Chadli, Bentaleb and Townsend will however miss this game on Sunday.

Arsenal are going into this game on the back of a 5-1 defeat at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munchen in the Champions League. They struggled to create anything in that game and were comprehensively beaten by the German Giants. However their last Premier League game ended in a 3-0 victory against Swansea and the manager will hope that his team can forget the humiliating defeat as soon as possible.

The visitors on the other hand won their Europa League game at home 2-1 and beat Aston Villa 3-1 before that game. Tottenham have been in good form for over a month and have not lost a game in the league after their 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford on the opening day. Pochettino has a squad full of stars and will hope that his team can get a result from the Emirates.

For Arsenal, Ozil and Giroud have found their confidence going forward and will prove to be a huge threat in front of goal on Sunday. The skill and vision of Ozil has taken Arsenal to the next level and if he can continue his form, Arsenal has a chance of taking all three points from the game.

Expected Line-ups:

Cech, Bellerín, Mertesacker, Monreal, Koscielny, Coquelin, Campbell, Cazorla, Sánchez, Özil, Giroud

Tottenham Hotspur:

Lloris; Alderweireld, Walker, Rose, Vertonghen; Lamela, Eriksen; Dier, Alli, Dembélé; Kane

Arsenal have been in top form before the 5-1 defeat to Bayern and will hold the upper hand going into this game as they will play in front of their home crowd. But Tottenham have been a hard nut to crack under Pochettino this season and will surely give the home team a run for their money.

Our Prediction:

Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham

Betting Odds:

Arsenal: 3/4

Draw: 16/5

Tottenham: 41/10
