Manchester City will have to deal with a huge blow as the agent of their key target Kevin De Bruyne has confirmed that his client has no intentions of leaving Bundesliga side Wolfburg this summer.

Patrick De Koster, De Bruyne’s agent speaking to Guardian Sport said that the Belgian midfielder will not force a transfer request this summer to joi any other club.

De Koster was quoted: “There is no way we would do something like that – we have a good working relationship with Wolfsburg and a transfer request is not something that happens in Germany.

“At this stage we have not received a call to say that any bid has been accepted and until we do Kevin will stay where he is.”

He clarified that he and his client share a very good relationship with Wolfsburg officials and there is no question of handing transfer request under the present circumstances. He further mentioned that they have not received any transfer request yet from any other club.

Manchester City are on a spending spree this summer as they are looking forward to bolster their squad. Earlier this summer, the Cityzens had bought talented English youngster Raheem Sterling from Liverpool for whopping £49m.

It was reported that after Sterling’s inclusion Manuel Pellegrini has shifted his focus over Kevin De Bruyne who has been spectacular for the Bundesliga side last summer. The club had won the DFB Pokal last season adn have also bagged the German Super Cup in the beginning of this season beating giants Bayern Munich.

Manchester City are ready to spend aroung £45m to lure De Bruyne’s service.
