Bookmakers Odd: Expect SURPRISING transfer activity from Arsenal!!

Arsenal completed two moves to sign Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi yesterday, but with under 24 hours remaining in the current window, who else could be joining the Gunners on the deadline day? Oddschecker giving us some interesting facts, let’s check it out.

Jack Wilshere is expected to leave on loan today, and the bookmakers make Crystal Palace odds-on favourites to be his destination, but will his exit increase the likelihood of a new arrival?

There are no central midfielders in the betting to join Arsenal currently, but the England international has been favoured in a more advanced role in his most recent outings, and the likes of Isco, Draxler, and Antoine Griezmann have been linked.

The betting does not give much hope for the Gooners to complete a deal for either of the trio, but Isco does appear to have fallen out of favour at Real Madrid, and the German international is claimed to be keen on leaving his current club Wolfsburg.

Wenger was reported to have been trying to work on a deal to bring in the European Championship’s Golden Boot winner Griezmann, and he is as short as 5/2 (3.5) to join Arsenal today.

As expected, a number of strikers are in the betting, with much talk in recent weeks surrounding the north Londoners’ hunt for a new goalscorer, but with Lucas Perez having joined, it’s rather difficult to believe they will add another rival for Giroud this summer. The odds don’t reflect these thoughts, however, and Icardi, Lacazette, and Benzema are all shorter than 8/1 (9.0) to join Arsenal.

Jose Fonte is the only defender with odds on a switch to the Emirates at this point in time, but at 20/1 (21.0), he is not rated a strong chance to join, and with Mustafi already here, it  doesn’t make sense to go for him anyway.
