Liverpool football club have cancelled their scheduled meeting with Raheem Sterling to discuss his immediate future with the club following the outburst by Sterling’s manager Aidy Ward.

According to Eurosport, Liverpool are very angry with sterling’s agent who went on to claim that his client will not sign the contract at any condition even if the club are willing to pay 900k-a-week to the player.

Speaking to London everning standard, Sterling’s agent Aidy Ward said: “He is definitely not signing. He’s not signing for £700, £800, £900 thousand a week. He is not signing.

“My job is to make sure I do the best with them (my clients). If people say I am bad at my job, or they are badly advised it does not matter.”

Not only this, Ward went on to call Jamie Carragher a knob who had asked Sterling to keep his mouth shut and focus on winning titles with the club.

These comments have not been received well by the club as they have left Sterling waiting on their next move by cancelling their pre-scheduled meeting with the player. It was expected that Sterling would have told the Liverpool club and manager Brendan Rodgers about his wish to leave the club.

There are many clubs keeping a close tab on the developments at Anfield at the moment including Premier League giants Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United alongwith the European heavyweights Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

One thing is certain that Sterling will leave the club but where he will end up is a big question at the moment.
