Chelsea Player Ratings VS Hull City

Mourinho’s men are now 6 points clear on top of the Premier League table and have a chance to go nine clear with one game in hand, all thanks to Loic Remy’s winner at KC Stadium. The game ended 2-3 and it was a very hard earned victory. Here’s the ratings of Chelsea players based on yesterdays performance.

Thibaut Courtois – 7.5/10

Made more than 5 vital saves but made a terrible mistake leading to Hull City’s equalizer. Overall it was an amazing performance by the lad.

Branislav Ivanovic – 6.8/10

Was decent at times but could not maintain the level of his performance. He was noticeable in both attack and defense.

John Terry – 7.0/10

Chelsea’s defense was very well organized in the 2nd half, precisely after Hull’s second goal and all thanks to Terry. He made many important blocks, tackles and was excellent in air.

Gary Cahill – 7.2/10

Cahill was very good too made some important clearances, blocked a few shots was excellent during corners and set pieces but attempted a tackle outside the box which lead to a Hull free kick.

Filipe Luis – 7.0/10

The Brazilian showed great enthusiasm and energy and was all over the pitch. His crosser were inch perfect and passing was accurate too, defensively he was great too but was could not multitask.

Nemanja Matic – 6.7/10

Didn’t boss the midfield but was good in passing department. Overall it was not a satisfying performance according Nemanja standards.

Ramires – 6.8/10

Ramires was very energetic and industrious his passing was goo, made some good tackles earned some spot kicks but no end product.

Willian – 6.5/10

Decent dribbling, decent passing, poor crossing, satisfactory link up play was involved in some build ups but overall he was not impressive.

Cesc Fabregas – 7.0/10

After a few weeks of bad patch Fabregas finally gave a good performance his passes were brilliant and fruitful as well, defensively he was sound too but missed a golden chance to score a goal.

Eden Hazard – 8.5/10

The Belgian world beater scored a splendid goal within 90 seconds and successfully maintained the level of his performance throughout the game. His dribbling was class apart, he initiated almost each and every build up, defensively also he was very sound and contributed when needed. Overall it was an amazing performance or a trademark Eden Hazard performance.

Diego Costa – 8.5/10

Diego Costa was brilliant too he was enthusiastic and industrious, was put to task on many occasions by Hull defenders but successfully came out on top. He also scored a mesmerizing goal which was goal no 20 form him.


Oscar – 6.0/10

Came on in the 61st minute but was very poor for the entire time.

Loic Remy – 7.0/10

It was a striker for striker substitution Loic came on in the 75th minute and his very first touch lead to the much anticipated winner. Overall he was impressive and has book his place in the starting XI for the next game as Costa is injured.
