Atletico Madrid are now host to some of the best players in Europe this season.

Antoine Griezmann, the man of the moment at the end of the previous season and also in EUROs, has been at the club for some time now and has recently revealed that he is happy in Spain and will only leave the club if the manager Diego Simeone also quits.

This has kept the Premier League outfits Chelsea and Manchester United on high alert, as they are two of the very few clubs that can afford the French international.

Manchester United are understood to be desperate for their man as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is currently at the will not stay for long and Mourinho needs a striker for the long term to keep the club at its best.

However, it will not be easy for the Red Devils to get their man as Chelsea are now plotting a shocking move for the 25-year old.

According to recent reports, Antonio Conte, the new boss at the Bridge, is desperate for a striking option and is ready to let one of his star players go at Atletico Madrid in a swap deal for the French international.

It is revealed that Griezmann has a £84m release clause to even have a shot at signing him and it is understood that Conte wants to send star striker Diego Costa back to Spain to cover a part of the release clause.

This will be an interesting swap as the Spanish giants will not mind taking back one of their best stars in the previous few years if they have no other choice but to let go of Griezmann next summer.

However, as already revealed, Griezmann is ready for a move only if Simeone moves away from the club but with two Champions League final appearances in 3 years, Simeone is going nowhere before lifting the Champions League trophy with the Spanish club.

Manchester United on the other end are desperate enough and are ready to offer all the release clause in cash to get their man. It will be interesting to see which club can get their hands on the 25-year old if and when he decides to move away from Spain.

Do you think Chelsea or United will sign Griezmann next summer?
