Chelsea youngster has joined La Liga side Real Betis on loan, after some impressive outings for Chelsea U21 team. The talks about Charly Musonda have always resulted in speculations of him making his senior team debut for the Blues, but the Chelsea hierarchy has decided to send the 19-year-old Belgian.
The authorities feel the player has immense potential and are in need of more experience, which can only be extracted through regular playing time.
The highly rated Belgian attacking midfielder has been regarded as one of the highly intriguing and exciting prospect among Chelsea youth squad, who can also play in both wings.
He is the son of former Anderlecht and Zambian midfielder Charly Musonda Sr, and the brother of Lamisha Musonda who has featured for Belgium National Youth side in U18 and U21 competitions.

The player has his contract at Chelsea up to 2019, and this 18-month loan spell at Real Betis is sure to mould him, stronger and sharper.
HLN Journalist Sven Claes has reported the news, while an official revelation from either clubs is still due. Sven Claes also explained that there is no option for a permanent deal after the 18-month spell at Spain.
He also added that the young Belgian is expected to be in the long-term plans of the West London club.
Real Betis are currently standing at 14th position in La Liga table.
