Hernandez was told by the United gaffer that he had just one percent chance of playing at Manchester United and was told that he wasn’t a part of LvG’s philosophy.

This eventually led to Chicharito exiting from England and heading his way out to Bundesliga. This was one of the best decisions for the Mexican as he is now reigning over the score sheet in the league.

Chicharito  made it seven goals in his past five matches for Bayer Leverkusen, notching the 73rd-minute winner in a 1-0 triumph over Ingolstadt in Bundesliga action Saturday.Hernandez now has 19 goals in 22 matches in all competitions since joining Leverkusen from Manchester United late in the summer transfer window.

His latest goal came on a counterattack Saturday, as Karim Bellarabi carried the ball into the final third and slipped in Hernandez, who hit a sliding, 12-yard shot past charging goalkeeper Orjan Nyland.

This became his 19th goal and there’s nothing stopping him! His goal galore knows no end as Chicharito is slaying off the teams in the league. Javier is being rated as one of the top strikers in the German competition and is being compared with the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Shinji Kagawa. He recently won the Bundesliga Idol award after being the most voted candidate by the fans.

With 42 goals in 78 appearances for Mexico, Chicharito needs only four more strikes to equal Jared Borgetti as El Tri’s highest-ever goalscorer. With an average of 0.53 goals per game, Hernandez has a higher strike rate than any of his nation’s top ten forwards.
