David De Gea has taken one more step towards sealing his exit from Manchester United as Real Madrid are all set to meet David De Gea’s agent later this week to close in on the deal.
Real Madrid have been chasing the Spanish goal keeper for months now and believe they are closer than ever to secure his signing.
According to reports, Real Madrid are set to table a £15million opening bid for the keeper, which is likely to be turned down by Manchester United.
De Gea joined Old Tarfford for a British goal keeping transfer record fee of £17.8million. Real Madrid’s next job is to agree a transfer fee with the red devils as they will not let go off their star man at a skimmed price.
De Gea has entered the last year of his contract and Florentino Perez believes, he can sign De Gea on a free transfer when his current contract expires with Manchester United.
Manchester United have seemingly accepted defeat in De Gea’s transfer, however are willing to offer the keeper a massive £200,000-a-week offer to stay at the club. This offer will make De gea the best goal keeper in the history of football.
De Gea is currently away on International duty with Spain where he is preparing to take on Costa Rica this coming Thursday.
