The 34-year-old striker has been heavily linked with the premier league big guns, the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are showing great interest on the PSG ace, as he heads closer towards the end of his remaining contract.
In spite of being a bit aged and inexperienced of the English football, his teammates Angel Di Maria feels Ibrahimovic has enough quality, skill, strength and stamina to play anywhere for any club in the world.
‘Players with his skills can succeed in any league in the world,’ the Argentine and PSG attacker quoted in the Express news.
‘He has played in the Dutch, Spanish and Italian leagues and now in France and shown what he is capable of by winning the title in every country. He can play anywhere because of his quality and who he is.’
Di Maria himself was a flop during his first season with Manchester United but has shown his class after his summer transfer to PSG.
Di Maria’s partnership with the PSG striker Ibrahimovic has been an important factor in PSG’s flawless road to the French title with eight games left to be played and into the Champions League, they are in the last eight consecutively for the fourth season.
After ending Chelsea’s hopes in the last round and knocking them out, of the UEFA Champions League he will be hoping to do exactly the same with Manchester City in the quarter-final first leg tonight.
Ibrahimovic warmed up for the City game by smashing a hat-trick in the 4-1 win in the league game over Nice on Saturday and has equalled Pedro Miguel Pauleta’s record of 78 goals at the Parc de Princes.
Di Maria is aware of the threat posed by Manchester City, as he has spent a year in Manchester, especially his fellow Argentine team-mate Sergio Aguero, the Spanish playmaker David Silva and the Ivorian Yaya Toure if he is fit enough to play.
