When a player becomes a sensation in the league, every big club comes chasing the star to sign him up in the following transfer window and that’s exactly what is happening in German player, Thomas Muller’s situation. The midfielder is being targeted by top English clubs namely Manchester United earlier and now Liverpool.

Muller was linked to join the Red Devils in summer itself, but the deal didn’t go any further as a price tag of £75 million was quoted for the winger. German publication BILD reveals that Muller hasn’t signed a new contract with the German giants. This has alarmed both the clubs to make a move in this phase. Manchester United was the only club which was heavily linked with Muller until the Merseyside club joined the bandwagon.

The German club, however, has warned the clubs to stay away from the player and avoid making any offers for their key game maker. The 26-year-old striker is an unstoppable goal machine for the club. He’s enjoying his goal galore, netting 19 times in 20 games until now. Both Manchester United and Liverpool possess German links of Schweinsteiger and Jurgen Klopp respectively to attract Muller.

Muller’s style of play includes layoffs and short passes. He likes to cut inside and prefers not diving into tackles. Passing and through balls are his strengths.

He is also well known for his key passes and successful finishing. Lately, Thomas Muller became the youngest player to have played in 50 Champions League victories as Bayern Munich eased past Olympiakos on Tuesday.
