Roberto Martinez has been one of the unluckiest Premier League managers this season.
His side started the campaign in sizzling fashion and the manager has had the club play some fantastic football all throughout the season but he has had hardly anything to show for at the moment.
The club has marched into the semi-final of the FA Cup against Manchester United but has been poor in the league.
They are currently at the 12th place 12 points away from a European spot and have shown the lack of leadership and experience on the field as they have failed to keep hold of leads all throughout the domestic season.
However, the manager is now looking at reinforcements for the next season and has eyed ex-Manchester United star Nani as a potential summer target.
The 29-year old moved to Fenerbahce from Manchester United last summer and has had a productive season there.
In 39 appearances, he has scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists and is in good form at the moment.
In a recent interview, he revealed that he is looking forward to a move back to the Premier League and this has seen the Goodison Park outfit scout for the player.
Calcimercato, a media outlet revealed that the 29-year old has a £6.4m release clause in his contract and Everton are looking to meet the price for a potential move this summer.
The English outfit is just one of the many clubs eager to get their hands on the defender.
Italian outfit Inter Milan are also looking to sign the 29-year old after it was revealed that manager Roberto Mancini is an admirer of the player.
However, media outlets in Turkey insist that Nani is close to a move to Everton due to his keenness to play in the Premier League.
His statistics for the current season show that he is still a top-class player and will surely improve the Everton squad who are looking to grow into a team the challenges for Europe regularly.
Do you think Nani will be a good fit at Everton?
