Arsene Wenger is also reportedly interested in his signature as an alternative for Riyad Mahrez who did not make the move to the Emirates.

But it is now understood that Porto are read

y to sell to any club that is ready to meet their £35m valuation for the player this summer.

It is also understood that Everton have seen an initial bid of £25.5m rejected because Porto are not ready to sell at a loss, especially with a significant part of the money to be paid to a third party involved in Brahimi’s contract.

It Is also revealed that Brahimi is ready to make the move away from Porto and is looking at a place to play regular Champions League football leaving Arsenal in the driving seat for his signature.

However, it is said that he is excited with the ambitions of Farhad Moshiri, the new owner at the Goodison Park and that he is ready to make the move if a deal between both clubs is agreed.

If the move happens, it will be a blow for Arsenal and Liverpool both of who are desperate for a midfielder this summer.

Do you think Everton will pip Arsenal and Liverpool to Brahimi’s signature before deadline day?
