Atletico Madrid could provide Fernando Torres his new leas of life by preparing a move for their former star man. Fernando Torres has had terrible last few months with things not working out for him at Chelsea or his current club AC Milan, where he is on loan from Chelsea.

There were wide reports from Telegraph and leading English news papers about a possibility of Toores returning to Premier League as AC Milan are set to end Torres’ loan spell at San Siro and Jose Mourinho was looking for a club which can take Torres as he is an expansive load to bare with his wages attached.

Atletico Madrid president gave a clear indication in the matter by saying, ““He is not here but that does not mean that he won’t be,” said the president, reports BBC Sport.

Fernando Torres has enjoyed the best part of his career at Vicente Calderon where he burst on to the scene as one of the best strikers in he world. Soon after Liverpool prized him away from his boyhood club. Torres was a world beater under Rafa Bentitaz and his link up play with Steven Gerrard was one of Europe’s finest at one time. But a sudden dip in form and confidence has seen him struggle in front of the goal.

Fernando Torres and Atletico Madrid would hope for some of Torres’ old form to come back and he could shine once again for his beloved boyhood club, Atletico Madrid. Chelsea would be keen to get Torres off their wages payroll as it will allow Chelsea to spend elsewhere and a feel good factor might bring some of the lost form for Fernando Torres.
