First target of Klopp revealed: The Italian striker who he tried to sign at Dortmund, but wants him at Anfield desperately

It’s just been two days of his arrival to Anfield, Liverpool’s new manager Jurgen Klopp already started planning his revolution. Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi is on top of his wish list. Just after appointed as The Reds boss, Klopp highlighted the areas he likes to make stronger, attacking line being the top priority.

According to Daily Mail’s report, the German Boss already earmarked the 21-year-old Sassuolo striker and could make a lucrative offer to the Italian club next week.

As soon as he took charge, the 48-year-old German coach demanded complete control of the transfer procedure. Reports saying, he was also interested in bringing Berardi when in charge of Borussia Dortmund. And now Klopp wants to bring this young striker to Anfield in January. But he has one problem as Juventus already have made an offer of reportedly €18-million buy-back clause on Berardi, which can be activated next summer.

This young lad has impressed everybody in Serie A over the past two seasons with 31 goals in as many as 64 appearances and also was called up to the senior Italian team recently but because of an injury couldn’t join the national team.
