As reported yesterday by France Football, Florentino Pérez met with the Qatari royal family in Doha on Saturday.

It is not clear if Pérez made the trip for business given his company, ACS, has contract provisions for infrastructure in the country, or whether it was a sporting issue.

It is noteworthy, however, that only days ago Zlatan Ibrahimovic also visited Qatar, accompanied by his agent Mino Raiola, to seek a way out of the club.

Nasser Al Khelaifi, the president of PSG, was also present at the meetings with Ibrahimovic but it is unknown if he met with Pérez.

The discussion between Perez and the Owner of PSG may be regarding the transfers of several players from each club.

If it is Perez who made the trip then it could be regarding the transfer of some PSG players whom the Madrid president can potentially wish to bring to Santiago Bernabeu.

1> Zlatan Ibrahimovic– The Swiss superstar is rumoured to be unhappy and Real Madrid president loves to sign big players like him which is a part of his dream project “Galacticos”. He scored 30 goals in 37 games last season but some said he disappeared at crucial moments. He is unruly and a former Barcelona player.

2> Marco Verratti – Real Madrid is interested in the 22 year old central midfielder for the last two seasons and to go with the fact that in the last season the then Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti asked for the young Italian but Perez failed to bring him. Now Barcelona are on the verge of signing Paul Pogba and has signed Arda Turan; Real management can possibly again want the flamboyant midfielder at Bernabeu.

3> Edinson Cavani– The 28 year old Uruguayan has not convinced at PSG like he did at Napoli. He costed PSG €64 million and has a huge salary of €10 million per season. Real Madrid need another striker as Chicharito left after his one season loan from Manchester United.

4>  Marquinhos– He is just 21 and PSG spent €31.5 million on him and did not want to let him go despite having David Luiz and Thiago Silva in the team. Real are on the verge of losing Sergio Ramos to Manchester United and the Brazilian youngman may be on his way to replace Ramos at Madrid.

PSG can also be interested if few Real Madrid stars. The potential PSG wishlist could be-

1>  Karim Benzema– PSG may want the French striker as they want to add the best home nation players to their squad and New Real boss Rafael Benitez does not favour the striker and wants to play Ronaldo at top. The striker scored 21 goals for the Madrid giants last season in all competitions and that was not enough to convince the management and the fans. Benzema could possibly be the topic of discussion between two parties.

2> Sergio Ramos– Ramos has recently said that he does not want to extend his contract at Bernabeu if he does not get 10 million Euros per season and Madrid is ready to let the World Cup winner go. Manchester United are interested in the defender but they are to ready to pay big money for the 29 year old and wants to bargain. PSG can possibly offer more than Manchester United for the defender although they do not have a place for the defender in their squad.

3> Ronaldo– PSG owners fancy Cristiano as their dream player and want to sign the 3 times Balon d’or winner sooner or later. The Portuguese is contracted with Real Madrid up to 2018 and it is rumoured that they will try to get the superstar even then. Although letting Ronaldo go is the last thing Perez would wish for, we have to include him here considering PSG’s optimism and financial power.
