It has been quite a summer of transfers for the Premier League teams and it is only to get better as according to reports, Chelsea are now preparing new £32million bid for Everton’s central defender John Stones.
It was also reported that, Chelsea have readied the number 6 shirt for Stones, which was recebtly vacated by midfielder Oriol Romeu.
Sky sports, yesterday confirmed that Everton had rejected a £20million from the Blues and manager Roberto Martinez has once again come out and said the Stones is and will remain an Everton player.
Despite these claims, there have been several reports of a new £32million bid being readied by Jose Mourinho to sign the promising English defender, who is also linked with a move to Manchester United.
Both, Chelsea and Manchester United want a long-term fix to their defensive crisis and Stones is regarded as one of the best defenders from the Premier League.
Everton, however have plans to bring Stone to the first team this season as they have sold Sylven Distin to Bournemouth and will start with Stones alongside Phil Jagielka.
Chelsea have also been linked with Rapahel Varane as their defensive solution as the ageing pair of John Terry and Gary Cahill will not remain a solid force for long. Jose Mourinho knows that and is preparing to bring in young defenders at Stamford Bridge.
