Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti reveals his ambition to coach again in England before he retires.

The Italian boss who was sacked by Real Madrid at the end of last season was also considered by Liverpool before the Merseyside club brought in Jürgen Klopp in place of Brendan Rodgers. Ancelotti, when giving an interview in Corriere dello Sport revealed that he is now eyeing a January return and prefers a Premier League club.

“I would like to go back to the Premier League. It is the ideal environment not only for football, but for the ‘game’ around football.” He stated.

“You can work there with the right amount of pressure and with the necessary detachment and calm. Before I retire, I’d like to have another experience in England.”

Carlo who gave Chelsea a Premier League and a FA Cup during his stint with the Blues back in 2009-2011 also said, “The vacation continues atleast until the end of the year, then I will start again.”

“Where will I go? Where they call me. I will talk, evaluate and then decide. Up until a few weeks ago I was scared someone would call, but now the return is getting closer. Unless something strange happens. I am ready to get back on the bike in January.” The veteran Italian boss surely excited about his return.
