Real Madrid were handed a transfer ban for two season by FIFA which will see them not be able to purchase any player in the next two transfer windows.

Though the club is set to appeal to the court for recruitments next summer, there have been a number of rumors linking the Los Blancos with a number of top class players with a move this January.

Eden Hazard of Chelsea is one such target is on the radar for Madrid but famous journalist Guillem Balague felt that the Belgian is not such a priority at Bernabeau at the moment.

Eden Hazard the Belgian playmaker has his problems this year with the London franchise. He has seen a drastic fall in form after the start of the season and has had a complicated time recently.

His father Thierry also stepped into the breach between him and his club but Balague said that Hazard is still a Chelsea player and that he works hard for the club.

Balague said,” He still has ambitions with Chelsea. He plays for Chelsea, and is focused on Chelsea”.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Guillem Balague said that there are a lot of factors that determine whether Real Madrid move for the Belgian this season.

He added,”Hazard to  Real? At present, it comes more from the player’s camp. Real Madrid is open to the idea and Zinedine Zidane appreciates it.”

“But it really depends on how much money they will have and whether other players will be sold or not. Hazard should not be a top priority in the same way that De Gea and Lewandowski will be

Hazard has not been in the best form this season failing to score even a single Premier League goal and has seen a serious dip in form under Jose Mourinho. However, he is yet to play under Guus Hiddink and is out of the squad due to injury.

He will surely be a great addition to the Real Madrid squad if they think he can perform in the Spanish League. Do you think Madrid to try and go for Eden Hazard this January?
