Crystal Palace are enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League season and one of the major reason for it is the form of their two wide men Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha. Despite starting the season slowly, both Zaha and Bolasie are now beginning to create lots of chances for their teammates.
Crystal Palace manager believes he knows the exact answer to the duo’s sparkling return to form. Alan Pardrew has credited Bacry Sako with Zaha and Bolasie’s return to form. Pardrew said: “He (Zaha) knew that there wasn’t a lot in it in terms of the choice between him and Sako, so did Yannick. That competition in the dressing room drives performances on. So Wilf and Yannick have a little debt to Sako this weekend.”
Palace saw off West Brom during the weekend with 2 goals from Bolasie and Cabaye. Their win has seen Palace jump to fourth place in the league. Pardrew was very shrewd in the transfer window as he signed Yohan Cabaye and Bacry Sako and it is clearly paying off for the Londoners.
With Premier League going in to the International Break next weekend, it gives Pardrew enough time to assess how he can take this Palace side to even greater heights. Next up for Palce are tricky games against West Ham and Leicester, which would have a bearing on how their season pans out.
