Chelsea have finally announced that Antonio Conte will be the man to take the club forward for the next few years leaving the franchise in a state of transition this summer.

Lack of Champions League football is set to hurt the club as a number of star players are ready to jump out of the club at the end of the season.

But the incoming manager is understood to have planned a series of one on one conversations with every player who is unsettled at the club.

And fittingly, the first player he has spoken to is club skipper John Terry and it is not good news for the Blues fans.

The Daily Mirror in a recent article stated that the talks between the 35-year old and the Italian manager do not mean that the veteran English defender will stay at the club.

Earlier in the season, John Terry who has cemented his place at the heart of the English and Chelsea defense announced that he will hand up his boots at the end of the season.

He is out of a contract this summer and he has made it clear that he will not sign a new one. And the talks with Conte seem to have led to the same outcome come to the end of this season.

The 35-year old will not be out of options at the end of the season with a number of MLS clubs and also clubs from China have offered him lucrative deals for a potential move this summer.

The new Italian boss at the Bridge is also scheduled to talk to want-away stars Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, and Nemanja Matic and it is understood that these talks will decide the future of the players at the club.

It has been recently rumored that Conte has decided to make AS Roma’s Radja Nainggolan as one of the many his top priority targets this summer which will mean that a number of Chelsea players will be playing for their places from now to the end of the season.

Do you think Conte can get the glory days back to Stamford Bridge?
