Jose Mourinho on the verge on signing a new four-year deal

As per the latest reports, Chelsea are set to offer Jose Mourinho a new contract which will see him at Stamford Bridge till 2019. The new contract also makes Mourinho the highest paid manager in Premier League.

Mourinho’s assistants Rui Faria and Silvino Louro are also set to be offered new contracts at Chelsea. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is very happy with Chelsea’s progress last season as they have won league-cup double. Mourinho won the first Premier League for Chelsea in five years putting an end to the drought. The title also meant he won three Premier League titles in five years at Chelsea. The manager is known for his tactical changes and have achieved everything in Europe.

The Portugese manager is currently busy in transfer market as he is looking to make key additions to his squad which is already impressive. The 52-year old is keen to stay at Chelsea for a long time and create a legacy at Stamford Bridge like Sir Alex Ferguson did at Manchetser United. Mourinho is also keen to challenge for Champions League enxt season as he wants to make Chelsea the best team both in England and Europe.
