The summer transfer window this season just gets more and more exciting.

And most of that excitement seems to coming from Old Trafford with Jose Mourinho, the new manager is ready to make a complete squad overhaul to help him get the team back to glory next season.

In what can be a story of the summer, Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are reportedly looking to snatch a star player from London.

Cesc Fabregas, who moved to Chelsea from Barcelona under Jose Mourinho is said to be on the radar of the manager who is understood to be looking for a reunion with the Spaniard this summer.

The Mirror earlier today posted that Jose Mourinho is ready to pounce on his former club which is now led by Antonio Conte for one of the best midfielders in the country.

Chelsea’s Conte is reportedly close to a deal with Leicester City’s midfielder for a move this summer and it is understood that Mourinho wants to move for Spanish international Cesc Fabregas to get him to Old Trafford this summer.

Fabregas has in the past impressed Jose Mourinho in their stint in Spain that saw the manager swoop for the former Barcelona player a couple of years ago. The duo along with a number of other players like Diego Costa and Eden Hazard helped the club to a Premier League title but with Conte taking over the club and planning an overhaul, it looks increasingly likely that Fabregas is surplus to requirements at the club.

This is what has seen Mourinho ponder over a move for the Spaniard.

The Chelsea manager is also looking at Radja Nianggolan, Joao Mario, and Andre Gomez for the midfield position and if two of the four players end up moving to England, Fabregas will surely be a fringe player.

But with his ability to win games, Fabregas will be a great addition to any of the top teams in the world. And with Paul Pogba’s transfer hitting a snag, Mourinho is making sure that he has a healthy squad and wants Fabregas to dawn the Red of Manchester.

If he makes the move, the Spaniard will play in his third Premier League club and with all the clubs fighting for the same place in the points table, he may attract a bit of hatred from his former clubs.

Do you think Cesc Fabregas to Manchester United will happen this summer?
