Key Manchester United target could be heading to City in an all-French swap deal

It is no secret that Samir Nasri is enduring a tough time at Manchester City and his troubles could come to haunt Manchester United as it has been rumored that Manchester City are preparing a Samir Nasri+Cash offer for Juventus star Paul Pogba.

Manchester United have been tracking Pogba’s contract situation at Juventus for over a season now and the red devils were widely tipped to make a £70 million bid for the Frenchman in the summer but in a massive shake-up it is now believed that Man City have made Pogba their primary target for the summer and are willing to go to any extent in order to get the deal done.

Manuel Pellegrini has lost faith in Samir Nasri and has been using him off the bench in recent weeks. It has led to a rather frustrating time for Nasri and his reactions are getting louder and louder. Nasri is tipped for an exit from Etihad Stadium this summer but City will not let go off former Arsenal man that easily. Pellegrini wants to use Nasri as the leverage to sign Paul Pogba.

Juventus have been targeting creative and flair midfield player for their next season’s campaign. So far, Chelsea’s star Oscar tops their list but if Nasri decides to join the Old Lady, Juventus might want to consider the Nasri+Cash offer as they are certain to lose Pogba in the summer so it is only fair to accept an offer which will bring Juventus the most benefit.

Manchester United can only dread if Pogba ends up playing for their cross-town rivals Manchester City. First United allowed Pogba to leave on a free-transfer and since then he has become one of the world’s best player and now to see him dawn the blue of Manchester, nothing could be more worse for Manchester United fans.

The deal is yet far from getting done as City and Juventus will listen to the separate offers for Nasri and Pogba respectively but a player+cash deal involving the French Internationals stars is not far from turning in to reality.
