Klopp wants 22-year EURO16 winner to add to his attack this summer 1

Liverpool have been one of the busiest clubs this summer.

The new manager Jurgen Klopp has his first shot at a squad overhaul since taking over the club last August and it looks like the manager wants to add his brand of players to the squad to make it stronger and help him compete with the best in the league and also in Europe.

This has seen the manager cherry pick players from big leagues without really being bothered about big money signings.

One such star player who might be on his way to Liverpool is Portuguese midfielder Anderson Talisca.

The 22-year old is one of the most exciting players to come out of Portugal in recent times and has been on the radar of a number of big European clubs this summer.

Liverpool were linked with a move for him earlier this summer but all such talks seemed to cool down only to resurface earlier today.

Reports now claim that the Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira is currently in England to seal deals for players wanted by English clubs this summer.

Talisca

The 22-year has so far scored 20 goals in 76 appearances for the Primeira Liga outfit and is one of the prized possessions f the Benfica outfit.

It is understood that his contract includes a £37million release clause and though it may be on the higher side, his age and his potential make him a risk worth taking.

An attacking midfielder by train, Talisca can also play as a lone forward and can lead his side even in pressure games. He is a natural attacker who loves to have the ball at his feet while his pace and skill make it hard for the opponents to bottle him up.

He is a team player who will improve any squad he walks into and his style of play will suit Klopp’s tactics at Liverpool.

He is a more than handy addition to the squad but he may not find enough game time in England next season, especially with Liverpool, failing to qualify for Europe and it is best advised for the player to continue his growth in Portugal for at least another year.
