Liverpool are one of the many Premier League teams that are in search of top quality players in Europe this summer.
Jurgen Klopp has already added a number of players to his squad and has made his squad stronger from the previous season but he still has a couple of places that he needs to strengthen if he wants to compete with the best in the country next season.
The left-back position that is currently held by Alberto Moreno needs a bit of improvement while the manager is also in search of a midfielder who can control the game.
And it is now understood that Klopp can tick off his latter requirement after it is revealed that the club has agreed on a move for Brazilian midfielder Anderson Talisca.
The 22-year old was one of the most impressive midfielders in the Portuguese domestic league. He made 22 appearances for the Benfica side where he scored 3 goals and got two assists to add his midfield duties as he helped them to a third consecutive domestic title.
However, his exploits have seen the Liverpool make a move for him this summer. It was reported that super-agent Jorge Mendes the representative of the 22-year old is also happy for his client to move to Liverpool.
It is also revealed that the Anfield outfit are readying a £20m bid for the midfielder to solve the midfield woes at Liverpool going into the next season.
Championship outfit Wolves are also said to be interested in his signature this summer and it is understood that they have an advantage in landing the Brazil midfielder.
The 22-year old has not played enough international games to qualify for a work permit to play in England’s top flight domestic league and will have to go through a huge process before he is a Liverpool player.
However, the same does not apply to the Championship outfit Wolves who are looking to take advantage of the situation and lure the midfielder to the Championship this summer.
Talisca is an exciting player who will adjust himself to Klopp’s style easily. At just 22, he has the potential of becoming one of the best in his position and Liverpool will have to do all they can do to get their hands on the midfielder before the end of the transfer window.
Do you think Anderson Talisca is a good move for Liverpool?
