Liverpool are looking to reinforce their squad ahead of the season 2015/16 despite signing seven players in the transfer window.

Liverpool are going all out for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko according to reports from Spanish media

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is an admirer of the French international’s versatility and engine and looking to beat Premier League holders Chelsea for the 25 year old’s signature as he believes that the Frenchman can bolster his midfield.

The Spanish media also claims that Liverpool have made a formal bid worth of £17 million for the midfield general to bring him to Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers is impressed with Sissoko’s midfield versatility and while Newcastle don’t want to sell, it sounds like they’re refusing to give up on a transfer.

The tenacious midfielder made 34 appearances for the Magpies last season scoring four goals and setting up another two.

The dynamic midfielder can play as a central midfielder, right midfielder, attacking midfielder and defensive midfielder and his arrival would surely improve Liverpool’s squad.

Liverpool have already made seven signing in the transfer window with James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez, Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and Christian Benteke and looking to bring more new faces at Merseyside.
