Liverpool predicted lineup to face Everton – Klopp to make multiple changes again?

In what was the last game for the previous manager Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool drew with Everton at the Goodison Park early in the season. But both clubs have come a long way till date and will face each other in the reverse fixture at Anfield on Wednesday.

Both clubs have nothing to play for in the Premier League season but a derby can never be a normal affair with bragging rights within friends up for grabs in the game. It will be a splendid affair with both clubs playing some good football this season.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp revealed that he was looking forward to the game and urged his players to keep their cool and to not hurt themselves caught up in the occasion.

He also revealed that he will not rest any key players and revealed that striker Divock Origi is back fit after picking up a back sprain in the game against Bournemouth. However, defender Martin Skrtel and striker Christian Benteke are both not fit for this game. Jordan Henderson and Emre Can are sidelined for the rest of the season along with Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, and Jordan Rossiter.

Here is the strongest line-up Liverpool can field against Everton on Wednesday:

Goal Keeper:

Simon Mignolet:

The Belgian was rested in the weekend game against Bournemouth and will have to be at his best after a good performance in that game by Ward, his deputy.

Defense:

Jon Flanagan:

Not given a chance against Bournemouth, Flanagan, who has impressed with recent performance should start this game at Anfield.

Dejan Lovren:

The hero from last Thursday was rested on Sunday and will be full of confidence and energy going into the Merseyside derby.

Mamadou Sakho:

After just a few minutes under the belt on Sunday, the Frenchman will be back in the starting line-up for this crunch game at Anfield.

Nathaniel Clyne:

The first name on the team sheet for Liverpool these days, Clyne, who was also given a rest on Sunday will play on the left side of the Liverpool defense.

Mid-field:

Joe Allen:

After a superb performance in the mid-field against Dortmund and then against Bournemouth, Allen will surely start this game at Anfield.

James Milner:

Was rested for the game in the weekend and will be back into the starting line-up wearing the captain’s armband in the absence of Jordan Henderson for Liverpool.

Adam Lallana:

The England international has never won a game against Everton and revealed that he was looking forward to putting in a good performance on the night.

Roberto Firmino:

The Brazilian was back with a bang on Sunday as he found the net for the 9th time this season in the game against Bournemouth. He will play an important role for Liverpool against Everton.

Phillipe Coutinho:

After having no role to play in the 2-1 victory over the cherries, Coutinho will once again be back in attack for Liverpool who look for all three points against Everton.

Attack:

Daniel Sturridge:

Though Origi has done more than enough to get a place in the starting line-up, Sturridge, who was sensational on Sunday should keep his place in the starting line-up in the crunch derby.
