Are Liverpool trying to to sign Real Madrid star?

According to latest reports, Liverpool are ready to sign a world-class striker next season and have set their sights on Real Madrid’s striker Karim Benzema. Real Madrid are also considering to sell their target man as they are trying to fill out their budget for their summer transfers with their Galacticos policy.

According to latest reports from Spain, Los Blancos are willing to sell one of the so called “BBC” as the attacking trio was unable to come together in attack and have been in terrible form recently. Fan favorites Ronaldo and Bale are expected to stay and the French International is expected to move away from Bernabau this summer.

Liverpool are in dire need of a world-class striker since the departure of Luiz Suarez last summer as the top scorer of the team this season is Steven Gerrard with only 10 goals and the veteran will leave for LA Galaxy this summer.

The signings of Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli are showing no effect on the team’s influence with midfielders Henderson and Lallana stepping up. So with Balotelli very much expected to leave the Reds this summer after a penalty row with Henderson last month, Reds are looking for a striker who could be very efficient infront of goal.

The signing of Benzema will be a record transfer as the club should pay £35million to get the services of the 27-year old. The striker has so far scored 20 goals for Real Madrid this season.
