Struggling Liverpool are looking to reinforce their attack in January and the manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring Villareal starlet Moi Gomez at Anfield, according to Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old highly rated winger is on loan to Getafe for the season but is said to have fallen out with club manager Marcelino ahead of his departure.

It is reported that he does not have a future at Villareal is available for only £4million and Rodgers is trying to use this as his advantage and bolster his attack.

The winger was a key member for his side last term, featuring 44 times in all competitions, scoring four goals while providing another six assists. So far, he has played a total of 94 games for Villareal and scored 7 assisting 10.

The winger is capped at different youth levels of Spain with 17 youth caps and is currently an under 21 international.

Liverpool had a disappointing start of the season. Despite two wins in the first two games, their good start had a stall as they drew one game and then lost two games.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is criticized by Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher for their humiliating 3-1 loss against rivals Manchester United.

“There’s not enough help for Benteke,” he said.

“Ings came in and I said before the game it must be two up front and they must be playing a diamond formation, but they were still playing 4-3-3.”

“I don’t understand this obsession with playing 4-3-3. Brendan Rodgers came to the club wanting to play 4-3-3 and it didn’t work.”

Despite already adding a large number of players in the recent summer window, Rodgers may once again be forced to make a few more changes to his squad at the turn of the year.

However, fans are voicing their concerns their Rodgers and wanting him to be sacked and wanting Jurgen Klopp or Carlo Ancelotti to be replacing the Northern Irishman.
