Jurgen Klopp has not finished strengthening his Liverpool squad yet as he recently revealed he is in the market to sign another player.

The German has already splurged around £70million on new signings this summer, with the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane joining for £25million and £34million respectively.

Now according to latest reports in Holland, the Reds are going to make a £13m offer for PSV left-back Jetro Willems. He’s very highly rated, having already gained 20 caps for Holland and played over 100 games for PSV at the age of 22. Liverpool Echo also confirmed the news.

Klopp still wants to sign a new left-back though, with Spaniard Alberto Moreno yet to convince in his two seasons at Anfield.

The German will have to turn to the club’s owners Fenway Sports Group to ask for further transfer finances, but he has no doubt that they will back him with big money again.

Asked whether he has been satisfied with the support of FSG since arriving on Merseyside, Klopp told the Liverpool Echo: “100%. Absolutely, I’ve been able to do what I wanted.

“We’re in a good way. We don’t need to make another three or four signings, maybe one more, maybe not.”

The Dutch left-back, who has some amazing performances for the current Eredivisie champions, sees his contract run until June 2017 but PSV officials see him being a player with huge promise.

The 21-year-old has done well to come back from a serious knee injury in July 2015 and has been very impressive in the second-half of last season, with his performance in PSV’s Uefa Champions League penalty shootout defeat to Atletico Madrid being a particular highlight.

Jetro Willems is a great example of the modern games prototype for a full back. Playing on the left, he has torn apart the right side of many opposition teams this season.

His partnership with the Memphis Depay has been spectacular for Netherlands. Willems’ strength is in the offensive part of the game, where he has contributes lots of assists.

Most of his assist comes from his best ability, which is crossing. His ability to swing in a cross with great power and precision has brought PSV a lot of goals via headers off of Luuk De Jong.
