Premier League giants Manchester United are desperately chasing Gremio rising star Luan, who has also been monitored by their rivals Liverpool, according to the reports from Brazil.

Earlier this month reports suggested that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is also a big admirer of the talented youngster and will do his best to beat the Red Devils in this race.

Klopp is currently exploring his attacking options as many of the deals are not falling through for the manager making the fans anxious about the side’s preparations. The Reds currently do have quality attackers at their disposal but if Benteke and Balotelli depart then there will be a need  a centre forward in the side.

The South American club are willing to keep their prized asset and rejected Liverpool’s approach.

Brazilian starlet Luan has been in impressive form since the last season, as he managed to score 17 goals. The youngs striker also dazzled for Brazil national team at the Olympics. Luan has managed three goals and created two more to help his national side cruise into the final.

After his incredible performances in Brazil, the reports from Zero Hora claim that Gremio are now demanding a massive £39m to part with their attacking starlet.

Serie A champions Juventus are also tracking 23-year-old starlet and both Man United and Liverpool will face a tough battle for his signature.

Vieira started playing for the Brazilian side Gremio in the season of 2014, but his first season was not that impressive. He took his time to settle at his new club and in the second season there was a tremendous improvement in his performances and the goals started to flourish.
