Manchester United wanted 4 of our players this summer to harm us: Real Madrid

Things between Real Madrid and Manchester United are not the best now after the situation regarding David de Gea and a lot of controversies over the deal for why it did not o through. 

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez slammed Manchester United for delaying to reply to their contracts for de Gea and also stated that the Red Devils do not know how transfer process works.

However, Manchester United fans saw a disappointing transfer window to some extent as they got linked with almost all world-class player across the planet. The list includes Thomas Muller, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Gareth Bale and many more superstars.

A very much sought out transfer saga of the window was Real Madrid defender and captain Sergio Ramos’s link with the Red Devils. But the transfer did not happen as the World Cup winner signed a contract extension with Real Madrid.

According to the club’s president Florentino Perez, Manchester United wanted three other Real Madrid players as well as Sergio Ramos.

Speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, Perez said, “We know that United showed interest in Bale, Benzema and Varane.”

Perez also spoke about Sergio Ramos’ potential move to Manchester United, who he believes would never have left the club.

He said, “I never saw Ramos leaving this club. He was never close to doing so. Manchester United meddled in the situation. Those who want to do harm to Real Madrid middle, but nothing really happened, nothing more than happens every summer.”
