Manchester City are becoming a team this season who have the cash but do not know where to spend them. So far, they have seen their interest being turned down by Paul Pogba, Angel Di Maria and more recently Kevin De Bruyne.

Despite holding talks with all of the players named above, they have failed to sign any one of them. In wake of their transfer status, Manuel Pellegrini has now pleaded his former star Isco to sign for City in the summer but unfortunately for them, Isco has also put them on hold for now.

Manchetser City have been made the favorites to sign Isco if he leaves Bernabeu after Juventus ruled themselves out from the race. Isco, 23 has grown somewhat frustrated at Real Madrid after falling behind the pecking order to James Rodriguez.

New manager Rafa Benitez has been looking to keep a hold of their players since taking over as the Real Madrid manager. Manchester United had already made his life tough after being very pushy in signing Sergio Ramos in the summer, however that has looked to have well settled.

Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema continue to attract a lot of interest from the Premier League clubs as well and if that was not all now Isco has been added to the hitlist as well.

Man City can break the bank to sign Isco if the player permits them to make a move. Elsewhere, City have deiced to sell Edin Dzeko to AS Roma for a fee worth £14million.
