Both Manchester City and Manchester United have been looking to add star players to their squads under new managers Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. However, there has been a contrasting in the approaches of the two clubs over the ongoing transfer window.

While Manchester United are going for the kill to get their players despite the price tags, Manchester City have been more calculative between the two as they are constructing their squad with relatively lower prices than their counterparts.

Manchester United are about to land Paul Pogba in a world record transfer fee which is as much as £112m which includes Raiola’s fee.

However, Manchester City are planning to their four targets for the same cost as Paul Pogba or even less.

The Citizens are reportedly interested in Germany’s young sensation as they are trying to sign the young forward for about £35m from Schalke.

They also are willing to sign John Stones from Everton as they have already submitted a bid close to £40m. But the Toffees want a £50m for the young English defender.

Manchester City are also chasing two South American teenagers who could be next potential stars as they are close to finalizing the deals.

Yesterday, Manchester City were wrapping up a £8m deal for the 19-year old Colombian winger Marlos Moreno from Atletico Nacional.
