Everton manager Roberto Martinez has had the club play some good football this season aided by the superb form of young striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian international has been in sublime form this season constantly finding the back of the net and helping his team to many a victory.

He has scored 18 goals in the Premier League this season and is just behind Vardy and Kane in the top goal scorers list for this season.

His run of form from not only this season but also previously has seen him on the radar of a number of European clubs who are looking to price him away from the Goodison Park this summer.

Chelsea, who sold the player to Everton a couple of years ago along with Manchester United, and Bayern Munich are all set to make a move for the 22-year old and with the player revealing that he wants to play in the Champions League, it looks like his time at Everton is all but over.

This has seen the Merseyside club already line-up a potential replacement for the Belgian.

Out of favor Manchester City striker, Wilfred Bony is understood to be on the top of the priority list for the Toffees in the transfer window this summer.

With Lukaku’s exit, it is understood that Martinez sees the Ivory Coast international as the perfect replacement before the start of the next season.

Bony moved to City in the January transfer window last season but has hardly been able to start games for the club with Aguero in the squad.

But with Pep Guardiola set to take over the Etihad outfit this summer, the 27-year old’s place in the squad is in grave danger.

The £28million signing has scored 10 goals in his 40 appearances for the Citizens ad has had an unsettled life at the Etihad.

He has already proven himself in the Premier League with Swansea over the last couple of season he was with the team constantly netting more than 10 goals and is a useful player to have on any team.

However, with Alexandre Lacazette also being monitored by Everton, it will be interesting to see if the club makes the move for the 27-year old this summer.

Do you think Wilfred Bony is a good replacement for Lukaku at Everton?
