Manchester United prepare lucrative offer to lure Zlatan this summer

This summer, the number of top class players who are ready to make the move is high in number.

A large number of clubs all over Europe are fighting for the biggest names in Europe and the Premier League is set to change its identity completely.

The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are all in transition this summer and will need to make the deals quickly and wisely if they are to stay in the hunt for silverware next season.

And even in a transfer window of such large implications, one name may just rule the whole window.

Sweden international and PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose contract in France is coming to an end this summer is a free agent is all set to make a move away from the Paris outfit.

Zlatan’s agent Mino Raiola has in the past said that his client is not ready to sign an extension with PSG and also revealed that he wants to play and win the Premier League before moving away from football.

A number of English sides are capable of fulfilling the financial requirements of the 34-year old but recent reports have revealed that Manchester United are leading the race to sign the forward.

According to the Daily Star, the Old Trafford outfit is ready to offer a two-year deal worth €16 million per year in order to lure the striker to Manchester before the likes of Arsenal or Chelsea snap him up.

But United’s biggest threat arises from China, the new superpower in world football. The financial supplements provided the Chinese franchise’s to obtain Zlatan’s services are far superior to those provided by the English outfit but it is left to see if the 34-year old would prefer to go to Asia.

Zlatan has scored 27 goals and has 11 assists in the 25 appearances for the French Champions this season and has also been instrumental in PSG’s run in the Champions League.

He has won 12 league title in the last 14 years in Spain, Italy and France and is one of the most decorated strikers in world football and it is understood that Ed Woodward, the vice-chairman of Manchester United is busy trying to convince the Swede to move to Old Trafford in the summer.

However, with Chelsea, Arsenal and also Napoli, fighting for the 34-year old, it looks like this story will be one of the most interesting transfer sagas of recent times.
