According to Mirror, Manchester United have started talks to sign Harry Kane form Tottenham as they renewed their interest in the player.
The Red Devils are in the market to sign a striker but have failed to do so far but have signed top-class players to add more depth to their squad. The likes of Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Depay and Darmain have made the team more stronger than last season.
But after selling Robin van Persie to Turkish club Fenerbahce and leaving out the option to sign Falcao, Manchester United only have one out and out striker in their squad, Javier Hernandez. But the Mexican is expected to leave Old Trafford in the coming days as West Ham are in advanced talks over a potential transfer.
United have been linked with Harry Kane earlier but the young English international had insisted that he would stay at White Hart Lane this season. Spurs were also keen to hold on to their prized possession.
The 22-year old was a sensation last season as he has scored 31-goals for Spurs in all competitions and have broke into England’s national side. Louis van Gaal is desperate for a marquee signing this summer but have failed so far and signing a proven young striker like Harry Kane would definitely be an incredible transfer for Manchester United.
