Manchester United Set Deadline To Complete Deal As Unhappy Midfielder Keen To Leave

West Brom have set Manchester United a deadline for their interest in midfielder Morgan schneiderlin.
The Baggies are keen on the former Southampton man and are battling Everton for his signature. But Tony Pulis is ready to play hardball with United over any move and has set a deadline for the end of the week.
West Brom had a £18million bid rejected last month but are prepared to go as high as the £22m asking price.
But, according to the Birmingham Mail, they want to know if Schneiderlin would seriously consider a move to Hawthorns – and if United will accept £22m for him.
Everton are also in the race and West Brom fear the France star would prefer to go to Goodison Park.
Schneiderlin joined United for £24m from Southampton but struggled under Louis van Gaal and has barely featured under Jose Mourinho.
And the Portuguese says he – along with Memphis Depay – can go for the right price.
He said: “Their situation is exactly the same, both of them. I will allow them to leave, the club will allow it, if the right offer comes.
“And until this moment, no we have not had the right offer. Is this good? No. Why not? Because I don’t think about them as options.
“Normally they would be selected tomorrow [for the FA Cup tie] but they aren’t because we are waiting for something that a few weeks ago looked 100 per cent but not now. Yes, we want permanent deals for them.”
Last week several reports almost confirmed Schneiderlin’s move to Everton mentioning a rumoured medical. United are looking to recoup most of the £24m they paid Southampton for the player in 2015.
He is expected to seal a move away this month with United considering alternatives including Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Schneiderlin has not played for United in nearly two months and his last Premier League start came at West Ham in May, when he was substituted at half-time.
