Manchester United are easily the most fruitful club in the summer transfer window this year.
They managed to get Portuguese genius Jose Mourinho to lead the squad and have added the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba to their ranks and having spent some big money on such deals, the manager will now have to get rid of players who will not fit the bill at the club next season.
This has seen a number of players linked with a move away from the club on a permanent basis but the manager has also looked at loaning out young players in the squad to give them more game time in the next season.
One such player who is now linked with a move away from the club on a loan deal is Belgium national Andreas Pereira.
The 20-year old is reportedly a part of the list of players who have no future under Jose Mourinho next season along with the likes of Juan Mata, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Donald Love and Paddy McNair among others.
And it is now understood that Aitor Karanka’s Middlesbrough side are interested in taking the youngster on loan this summer.
The former Championship outfit were linked with a move for Pereira before the start of the previous season also on a loan move but a deal was never struck by Middlesbrough.
However, with Premier League football beckoning this season, Pereira is once again on the radar of the former Championship outfit.
It is though revealed that the 20-year old would prefer to stay at the Carrington and train with the first team but it is understood that Mourinho wants him to leave this summer in search of regular game time.
With Manchester United entertaining Europa League football this year, Pereira is expecting to be a part of the team at least in the domestic cup games but it is believed that Jose Mourinho will only play him next season after a full season of Premier League action under his belt.
Do you think United should keep hold of the Belgian this summer?
